LINCOLN PARK
One of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods, Lincoln Park is located just south of the area where Denver was first settled in the 1850s. Given the time period of this neighborhood’s development, Lincoln Park homes for sale consist primarily of eclectic Victorians and many of the lot sizes are smaller than in other Denver neighborhoods. However, the namesake park at the heart of the neighborhood provides baseball fields, a large public pool, and acres of green space, giving residents a space to relax and play.
Bounded by Colfax, 6th Avenue, Cherry Creek, and the Platte River, Lincoln Park sits adjacent to Downtown Denver and borders the popular Capitol Hill and Baker neighborhoods, while providing easy access to Highway 6 and I-25. Lincoln Park is a great neighborhood for art lovers, as it contains the Santa Fe Art District, which is a popular retail and commercial corridor that includes more than 40 galleries, restaurants, and shops. The First Friday Art Walk occurs monthly on Santa Fe and is a fun opportunity to people watch, while checking out works from local artists in all styles and price ranges. The Denver Art Museum is also just minutes away from Lincoln Park.
Some of our favorite spots in Lincoln Park include the Molecule Effect cafe, mmm… Coffee! Paleo Bistro, Garage Vintage, Tesoro Artisan Market, Museo de las Americas, Arada Ethiopian Restaurant, Interstate Kitchen & Bar, the Canto do Galo Capoeira studio, and Movement Climbing Gym. Lincoln Park is also just minutes away from Denver’s popular South Broadway district.
