FIVE POINTS – CURTIS PARK
Founded in the 1860s as one of Denver’s first suburbs, the Five Points neighborhood hosts a busy retail, restaurant, and services corridor and is bounded by Park Avenue, Downing Street, Arapahoe Street, and 20th Avenue, just east of Downtown Denver. Five Points was also a central location of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road, where he visited The Casino Cabaret, which is now Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, a popular music venue. Our favorite spots in Five Points include the Curtis Club, Voila Salon Spa Parfumerie, Coffee at the Point, the Crossroads Theater, Work & Class, Green Spaces Co-Working Space, DaDa Art Bar, and The Populist.
