LODO – BALLPARK NEIGHBORHOOD

Denver’s lower downtown area is called LoDo, which is adjacent to Denver’s Ballpark neighborhood. This area was the original settlement of Denver, making LoDo the oldest neighborhood in the city. These days, both LoDo and Ballpark are incredibly popular amongst locals to live, work, and play. Bounded by Larimer Street, Speer Boulevard, Wewatta Street, and 30th Street, the LoDo and Ballpark areas contain a vibrant mix of older warehouses and industrial buildings renovated into offices, lofts, and retail space.

LoDo real estate provides many Denver’s best historic lofts for sale in renovated industrial buildings, including the Acme Lofts, Edbrooke Lofts, the Flour Mill, Isbell Lofts, the Ice House, Paris Lofts, the Rocky Mountain warehouse, S.H. Supply, Stadium Lofts, Streel Bridge, Streetcar Stables, Volker Lofts, Watertower Lofts, West End Lofts, and Wynkoop Lofts. Denver’s Lower Downtown Lofts offer a range of prices, extending well into the luxury market to more cost-effective options.

The LoDo and Ballpark neighborhoods also provide a variety stunning townhomes and high-end condos for sale within walking distance from all that downtown has to offer. The area is perfect for sports fans, with Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, nestled in the middle of Denver’s Ballpark neighborhood. At the other end of LoDo lies the Pepsi Center, which hosts the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche, in addition to a variety of concerts. Of course, we can’t forget about the Denver Broncos! Don’t worry, LoDo and Ballpark are a short Uber or Lyft ride away from Mile High Stadium.

Denver’s most popular nightclubs are in LoDo, while during the day, it is a bustling business and retail center. A highly walkable and eclectic area, LoDo is flanked on one end by Larimer Square, which features a lovely strip of high-end boutiques and restaurants with hanging lights all year round. At the other end of  the Ballpark neighborhood lies the popular RiNo art district. LoDo residents looking to enjoy the outdoors can use the Millennium Bridge at 16th Street to access Commons Park and enjoy a walk or bike ride along the Platte River. Some of our favorite LoDo spots include Euclid Hall, Snooze: an A.M. Eatery, Mercantile Dining & Provision, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, Sushi Sasa, and many others.
